This 1966 Chevrolet Impala SS was the fun to drive full size car from Chevrolet that was built for the discerning enthusiast who wanted style, comfort, and performance. This Impala was built the third week of December 1966 at the Norwood, OH and has a 16837 VIN making it a true SS Sport Coupe. The underbody shows very original with replacement shock absorbers and aftermarket Flowmaster mufflers. Those mufflers do work magic in making this 327 Impala sound like a real beast, it's a sound that only a real 60's muscle car can produce. The floorboards and trunk floor appear to be original, and the body does not appear to have ever been off the frame. This is a very original, correct, and great driving automobile.
