The six-passenger Phaeton convertible rode on a 121″ wheelbase and was Buick’s range-topping model for 1941 at $1,520. This example is finished in black and features standard trim including dual mirrors, turn signals, rear fender skirts, driving lights, and chrome brightwork with red accents.The black convertible top features a glass rear window and is stowed under a matching boot when lowered. Lap belts are fitted in both the front and rear passenger compartments, the latter of which also features a center armrest and dual reading lamps. Features include an engine-turned dashboard, a heater, a Sonomatic AM radio, rear passenger reading lamps, and more. Under the side-hinged hood is a 248ci Fireball straight-eight that is fed by twin downdraft carburetors and was factory-rated at 125 horsepower. A new clutch kit, flywheel, torque converter, fuel pump, and brake fluid were added in 2019.
