Description

This is a one of a kind barn find 427 L88 clone. It has not seen the road since the mid 70's, and has been stored under cover for the last 40 odd years. It has a 4-bolt main 427 V8 with LS6 heads and high rise intake with L88 style air cleaner. The hood is a true OEM L88 hood with cowl induction and Z-bar support. The engine was rebuilt in the late 90's and placed in the car, but has not seen any mileage since. This was an original big block car, and features the Turbo 400 automatic transmission, single fuel line, transistorized ignition, big block style bolts and clamps on the rear axle shafts, and 7000 rpm tachometer with 6500rpm redline. Starts and moves under its own power. It is in as found condition, and will need work before being road worthy. This is a great project to finish or for a resto-mod.
