The 1985 Chevrolet Corvette marked only the second year of the then all new C4 generation, however it represented the final puzzle piece in the completion of the C4 Corvette as it was intended by the designers and engineers. Gone was the carry over 205hp Cross Fire Injected V-8 that was drug from the last of the C3's, and in it's place sat an all new, then state of the art, fuel injected small block known as the L98 350 with Tune Port Injection. This new engine looked just as nice as it ran, with the aluminum intake runners gracefully curving down from the intake plenum. This intake design allowed for lots of low end torque and improved breathing for higher RPM horsepower. Overnight the Corvette went from 205hp to 230hp, and was now capable of 150mph top speeds. The amazingly clean, bright white Corvette featured here has not only the 350 TPI engine, but also the Z51 heavy duty suspension, heavy duty cooling, and the performance axle ratio. This Corvette has all the right option boxes ticked. All the standard equipment you would expect of a Corvette is there also. Inside there are power windows, power locks, power drivers seat, and power mirrors. The seats in this particular Corvette have been replaced with later model units, and are covered in a very soft leather material. The removable see through acrylic roof is a nice addition that gives a convertible type of feel to the car. The exterior of this Corvette is in excellent condition. The beautiful bright white paint shines like new with a deep gloss. The factory aluminum wheels are in good condition and look really nice with the wide tires all around. Overall this is one super nice, super clean, extremely original Corvette. It would make an excellent collector car, or a nice comfortable daily driver.
