Model year 1969 was a banner year for General Motors and Chevrolet in particular. All this power is routed through a smooth shifting four speed Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission and on to a stout GM 12-bolt rear axle. Front power disc brakes and heavy-duty springs help to keep things under control at all times.
